Leaving the marvel of the Gulf of Naples and Sorrento behind you, take the SS145 state road which in only 8 km takes you to the starting point of the enchanting coastal road, famous all over the world.

Suspended on the steep cliffs sinking into the depths of the sea, you’ll be overwhelmed by the surrounding colors, the yellow of the lemon groves torn from the mountain, the strong and scattered colors of the watercolor houses on the rock and finally the blu ecstasy of sky embracing the Mediterranean!

Along the path between the Hotel and the Amalfi coast road you will find the Colli di Fontanelle; its position on top of the hills allows you to admire the Gulf of Salerno and the Galli, the 3 islets among which Homer's sirens enchanted the sailors with their songs. Moreover, for trekking lovers, there are several nature trails starting from the Hills.

How to get around

By sea:

• Hydrofoils from Sorrento to the Amalfi Coast.
  The rides from Sorrento to Positano and Amalfi are generally active from mid-April to mid-October. There are a couple of boat rides in the morning from Sorrento to the Amalfi Coast and two in the afternoon from Positano and Amalfi to Sorrento. Journey time from Sorrento and Amalfi is about 40 minutes. To admire the view of the coast, sit on the left side of the hydrofoil from Sorrento to Amalfi and on the right side from Amalfi to Sorrento.

By bus:

• SITA company offers bus connection service from Sorrento to Positano or Amalfi. Our stop is the one following Bivio S.Agata (Via Nastro Verde). Tickets can be purchased at newsstands, tobacconists or some affiliated bars.
• To reach Montepertuso or Nocelle you can use the Positano bus service starting from Positano center (Piazza dei Mulini) and going up to Nocelle
